I wonder if these are the "new" del Mondos which are being made in Italy. I heard from a shop {Bulltek Sports} and then read in Cycling Plus that Clements are once again being made in Italy. Prices are not cheap. The hand-made Clement tubular cyclocross tires are rare and circa 50 pounds or so (ah, the weight of old tubulars...it probably led to their demise).

ps Had an interesting interaction with a lbs yesterday. I brought in a pair of high-flange Superbe Pro hubs, intending to have them built into some tubulars. The guy took one look at them and said to me that "I suppose that I could build a completely out of date wheel with those 'things.'"
