Well, some of us would like to avoid the photos to perpetuate the impression that we are younger and better looking than is in fact the case. But since we have in some cases already be "exposed" by photos of the Cirque or Larz, perhaps the idea has some merit, at least for those with access to scanners or digital cameras.
