I thought the SP sets used the gold with black lettering decals, whereas the SL sets used the gold with blue and white lettering? Anyone know definitively?

(This would be during the post-metal-foil-label era...).

And BTW, when did that style (metal foil) cease production?

I've heard that Windsor used a lot of SP, including on midsize to small frames where most builders used SL. Hard to prove this, since the old tubing stickers didn't identify which of the two grades was used.
