Harvey you beat me to the keyboard, I left Boston about 4:30AM and wandered
into T-Town about 10:00AM. Was expecting more vintage and found almost
nothing, mostly junk. The Bob Jackson Harvey mentioned was a 1983 with
Golden Anniversary, glad for my marriage I didn't see it first, would have
been obligated to go into "debt" to buy it. Also saw a 1970 Jackson gold
anodized track frame that went out at "$100". Tried my beat to pry it away
from the new owner, NO LUCK. All else was mostly uninteresting stuff. Since
we only mention vintage steel on this site I will not mention all the
titanium "stuff" I picked up for my " ".
There were about 30-40 commercial vendors and 80 people getting rid of too
much stuff we all collect and about 4000 at the show.
Had a great time with Harvey, Jill and Larry Osborn, making a promise
to see all in North Carolina next year. This was my first year at T-Town.
Sorry Dale no pictures, I spent to much time walking around drumming up
vendors to Brookline for Larz #5. Don't know if anybody will be at Velo-Swap
in my fair state next weekend, have heard from Chuck Brooks who will be
there.
