Well....I have to say that my heart is so lightened to see how much all of you male retro-vans respect and admire Beryl Burton. You all know more about her than I do! Kudos to the equal standards!
For me, I guess an ideal image would be something that highlighted the bike and maybe the race versus a male (or female) winner getting kissed. To this day races have some blonde bombshell give the male winners a trophy and a sexy kiss, yet are somewhat unceremonious about women winners. A little demeaning on both ends.
