I'll keep it short. In the past I was the successful bidder on an E-Bay item and a third party kindly e-mailed me the details of a shill driving the price up on that item. I sent the details to E-Bay and the bidder and the seller were banished from E-Bay and E-Bay informed me that I was not obligated to complete the transaction. Later the seller contacted me demanding that I complete the transaction and "threatening to leave bad feedback about me if I didn't". I contacted E-Bay again and E-Bay confirmed that the seller would not be allowed to leave negative feed back about me and that I was not obligated to complete the transaction. I didn't buy the item, never heard from the seller and no negative feed back appeared about me.
