I forgot, even worse, the stolen ones:

An "Azenave" or "Cazenave" french bike when I was 9 years old. Huret Alvit, Wienmann, Wing nuts. That would be 1965.

My first Redcay #11 or so and a Frejus track bike #86007 stolen the same day when my stupid roommate left the door open while moving in NYC about 1978. I recovered the Frejus and then it was stolen again! They broke down the door of my apartment while I was on vacation that time. One day I saw it being ridden down the street and gave chase on foot. I got within 10 feet of the guy but could not catch him. Ouch.
