hi, a sorry name, firenze; you'd thing all the florentines of tuscany would rise in mass protest. being from wisconsin, and of an age when firenzes were everywhere when i worked my way through college in bike shops, i can second (with mighty enthusiasm) david's comments. we generally told people that they simply weren't worth the cost of even a new tube and tire when they rolled in to the shop. and rolled was generally not the operative word with these, shall i laughingly say, bicycles. firenzes belong in the trash... put it back where it belongs! mark

This is truly a garbage bike. These were the lowest end of Taiwan's early 80's manufacturing. A home furnishings store in my area was giving them away with furniture and electronics purchases around 1982-83. You could have a free Firenze or a $25.00 discount. People who knew anything at all about bikes were taking the discount! Many of these had frame and fork failures with no abuse, genuine "JRA's." David Feldman ----------
