Ahh, thanks, it's nice to know I wasn't talking through my hat (I was just a bit uncertain of my facts). I recall also that Brooks took over Wrights as well. The Middlemore on my Viscount does look pretty well made, with thick leather, though it must have been ridden wet as it has a ridge down the center and was consequently replaced by an Avocet shortly after I got the bike.
