Francophiles,

Yesterday, I stumbled upon what I believe is a PX -10 in 'original but neglected condition' right down to the Ideal leather saddle that is nearly flattened out, dried and cracking. This cycle is white with Nervex lugs outlined in black, Serial number is # 26149996, stamped on a plate riveted to the bottom bracket shell. I know that somewhere a web page has is a serial number identification breakdown which would give me year, model, ect. Any leads to point me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Since I presently own no French cycles, (my last was a new 1975 Motobecane Super Mirage), I am wondering what I'm doing pondering this possible acquisition. I may just enter a 12 step program to 'cure' whatever is going on here.

Regards,

Carlo Carr New Orleans

'Laissez le bon temps roulet' Last night being Halloween and this being New Orleans, it was not suprising that a late 'Trick or Treater' was dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. The suprise was her age -- mid 20's, and her accessories, fish net stockings and stiletto heels. Susan ushered her on her way with some candy and directions to a single male neighbors house.
