>Is it possible to use a dynamo front hub? Yes, there are two excellent dynohubs available that through our store and Peter White Cycles. Shimano Nexas is one. It has higher drag but is 1/3 the cost of the Schmidt dynohub from Germany. The German product is superior in every way but cost. I even looks marvelous.

Classic theme; well I feel if Rene Herse's were still produced they would use the most innovative technology available and would install a hub dynamo in an unobtrusive and elegant way. They seemed to be well ahead of most companies in the lighting department since the 1950's. By the way no brazon's are needed except possibly for the lamp (a plus IMHO) on the hub dynamo's. Alex Singer bikes are still being produced and I'm not sure what Mr Szuka(sic?) would think of these modern products as I feel he is a bit of a retro grouch.

Only cost and installation( You have to build you wheel around the hub of course) are disadvantages.
