With the demise of Sturmey Archer, we have a Really Important Job before us: What is the best substitute for S/A oil. It has been part of my life for decades, finding uses far beyond internal hubs. I love it for lubricating freewheels, for example. I used to use it for knife whetting, but will have to give that up to preserve my supply...
So, I can see the ebay auction in 2021: NOS can of S/A oil, unopened but applicator tube cracked, sets new auction record for bicycle-related....
