My 1978 Pro (serial # WH800444)has the three cutouts on the BB shell and also cut outs on the sides of the head tube lugs. The seatstays on this year are more conventional with almost oversize looking caps and a fork crown that might be considered semi sloping although it looks flatter than most crowns of that genre. The dropouts are Campagnolo with chrome ends and the 1010B (I think...why can't I remember this stuff any more) rear dropouts with the two small screw holes for the funny Campy chain holder and shift lever with the neat little release tab. (That one will have you chasing around the country and searching the eBay sites but I think Renaissance cycles had a few a while back) There is a great example of this frame on the Classic Rendezvous web site under "Raleigh". See if this matches your frame.

It's possible that the headbadge mounts were filled when the frame was repainted. I believe that even the team bikes had a riveted head badge.

I sure sounds like a Pro. It should be a fun bike to ride whatever it's present color.
