I think it is tough to find experts, little was actually imported. Galli, Omas, Zeus, Gipiemme, Gian Robert was all hit or miss. I think a way to gather any information would be to start with who imported it. And how much they ever actually brought in. I was in the Sanctum Sanctorium (sp) of Zeus and it amounted to what was probably 50K worth of bikes and parts at a trading co. in the financial district of NYC. I suspect no one ever made dollar one bringing this stuff in.

Love my 2 OMAS BBs, No Galli, Gipiemme is 2nd rate for sure and no Robert. Just received a Zeus freewheel today and I have a few Zeus alloy track cogs.
