Stronglight mod. 93s came in both French and English pedal threading. My 1973 PX-10E has French metric pedal threads, and marked as such. The 1974 PX-10LE I traded off last year had English 9/16 x 20, which were also marked as such. I seem to remember that Jerry Moos has or had a bike with English threaded cranks factory equipped with French threaded pedals. Go figure.

This is, of course, leaving out all the older cranks out there marked metric but retapped and threaded to English. I've got a set of those, too .... ;>)

I sometimes wonder if Stronglight started going to English only as early as the mid-70s. I disremember if the data we were getting for the spreadsheet mentioned pedal thread ...
