I'd piece it out. When's the last time you saw a woman riding a mixte? Unless it's really exceptional (doesn't sound it) probably no loss to the cycling world. I just recently brought home a similar Raleigh mixte which had had it's chainstays crushed by the installation of a kickstand, how tight do you have to crank on the wrench to do that ?! : o
