I knew Fred and Pauline DeLong, and rode with them a number of times. Our picture is in the second edition of his big book. I never saw his collection, and never saw Pauline on a single. I know no one who has anything negative to say about Fred (or Pauline), who was just a great supporter of cycling back then. I'd love to have one of his bikes, but only if it would be something I could ride.
