I hesitate to say this, as it ain't vintage, but my junior female star, 14 year old Lauren Trull, from here in Greensboro, just won the National Championship! Yahoo! Sadly she was not riding a lugged steel frame but what can you do!? I am extremely proud of this great youngster, she is a sweet kid, and happy to see cycles de ORO colors wearing the stars & stripes jersey! My team has been blessed as this is the second national champ this year as this summer, Paul Wood (a deaf guy to boot!) won the Criterium champs for 30+ as well. Awesome.
