Subject: [CR]big pile of stuff for sale

Greetings, lister-ines. I have a number of things for sale at this time. Most of it is 80's vintage NOS Campy stuff. I realize that it's not the best time of year, but now is when the opportunity presented itself to me and now is when I present it to you. Also, I'm not a real Campy expert, especially with the "newer than the 70's" stuff, but I shall do the best that I can. All prices are "shipped to your house in the continental US". Ready?

1) Campagnolo Super Record brakes, NOS, in box. Back of calipers have a 4 in a circle. Allen nuts in the back, fronts have cone shaped, non-allen nuts. Script lettering on calipers. Domed quick releases, drilled levers, one lever hood has disapeared, the other is presant, otherwise brake set is complete. Grey cable housings, cables have C stamped in a diamond on cable end. Pad holders have black plastic covers on wheel guides. "normal" reach. No clamp-on cable guides. I believe that at this point it was expected that the frame would have braised on guides. $ 180.00

2) Campy Gran Sport brakes, NOS, in box. Complete, nothing missing. Domed Gran Sport type QR, no covers on wheel guides, allen in back, script on caliper, black cable housings, C on side of cable end. "normal" reach. No clamp-on cable guides. Very pretty if you can live with the lesser QR. $ 80.00

3) Campy Pedals. Box says "Record Sottogruppo Pedali" on the side. They are not the old 70's style NR or SR pedals. My guess is that these are near or at the end of clip and strap evolution. They are one sided, the body is silver, the rear portion of the cage is black and bolted on, the front is also black, and will bolt on. The bolts that hold on the front cage half also hold on the toe clips, but the individual components have not been assembled, and are still in their respective packages. The front cage half is smaller, the pedal body has no outside hole, and no outside dust cap. The straps are Campy, 2 layers of leather, with something laminated between, very wide by the buckles, and with Campy strap ends. These are beautiful and if I still used clips and straps, I would think hard about keeping them (yes, I am pedal impure with SPD's, but my feet are painfree). 9/16 x 20 NOS, box in rough shape, other items pristine. $75.00

4) More Campy pedals. Box says "Record Sottogruppo Pedali SGR" on the side. They are 3 bolt clipless, with cleats. Look compatable? I belive that they are the first or one of the first Campy clipless systems. 9/16 x 20 NOS, box a bit rough. $55.00

5) Campy shift levers. Box says "Kit Comandi Syncro". A little box below that says "6 RL". Could they be 12 speed indexed levers? Don't seem to click, but I don't have them mounted on a frame either. For braised on mounts. The right lever has another smaller lever outside (lateral to) the main lever. Dosen't say anything about being Record. NOS in box, but no instructions to be found. Does have cables and housing. $30.00

6) Campy BB. Italian. NOS, box is gone, but cardboard display insert still presant. Has cups, lockring, spindle, bearings. No bolts or sleeve. Spindle has Campy winged QR, marked 70 SS. Cups marked Campagnolo, 36 x 24 F, Made in Italy. Looks like my english NR ones, but Italian. $35.00

7) Campy 2 bolt seatpost. I know there was some recent discussion on what is what in the Campy 2 bolt post world, so I'll let you folks decide what flavor this is. Non-fluted, says Campagnolo in sun type design on top front, 27.2 and Patent Campagnolo on top rear, the word "limit" at the limit line, with small vertical marks all around the post. Some vertical scratches on the back side only, going up about 1" above the limit line. Doesn't look as though it's been in a bike, but something scraped on that area. Top area pristine and NOS. $35.00

8) Campy bar ends. NOS, no box or instructions. Has 2 levers, 2 cable housings, clamp on housing stop, RD cable housing, and one cable, long enough for the front der. Don't have a cable long enough for the rear der. Blue rubber covers on the levers, and one spare blue rubber cover. $55.00

9) Same as above but without the clamp on cable stop, or the rear der. cable housing. $45.00

10) 2 bar end cable housings, you know, come from the bar end, go to the down tube stop. $8

11) Campy front hub, I believe it's an 80's Record hub. NOS, 28 hole with skewer, grey rubber cover on skewer handle. Low flange. Oil port, marked "Brevetti Internazionali" and "Campagnolo Italy" around the oil port. Light scratches. $28.00

12) Campy Brake cables. With C in diamond on cable ends. 1pr. NOS, $15.00

13) Campy shifter cables, NOS, have 6, or 3 pair. C in diamond on cable end. Long enough to be rear der. cables from the down tube, or front der. cables from bar ends. $3 each, or all 6 for $17,000.00 (still awake?).

14) Also have a shifter cable with no marking (don't think it's Campy), that's 11 1/2 feet long. Tandem? Alien bicycle? $13.00

15) Ugly boxy rear der. with that 80's look. Been told that it's Veloce. Winged QR on front of cage. NOS, $25.00

16) 5 Campy shift levers. 3 have the old knobby regular Campy look, 2 are differant. May be older, may be Gran Sport, I dunno. 2 used Campy cables, some bolts, washers, spacers, all shifter related. $18.00 in your living room.

17) NOS Campy toe clips, 2 pr, one with tabs, one without. Both look mediumish to me, but I see no sizing mark. Either pair, $18.00, your house.

First come, first serve, free with any order over $50.00, your choice, one of: a) Campy rear brake bolt b) pair of Campy brake lever mounting bands c) little Campy envelope with 4 bolts and washers. For mounting toe clips, I'm sure.

Free to anyone with any order, a Campy NR front der. cage, with pivot arm and cable mounting bolt, which some feller has improved by drilling a bunch of holes through. Make your bike look 70's authentic, the way it really wuz.

I'm tired now, I'll post non Campy stuff later, including a "rare, vintage, non NOS" Suntour Lapree 3 jockey wheel rear der.

Sorry to run on.
