Subject: [CR]Help ID old Simplex derailleurs?

I stopped in at my old LBS this weekend and Jeff pulled out a couple of parts he wanted my opinion on -- a rod-operated front derailelur, and a rear derailleur he thought was broken, though it turned out he just hadn't seen one that style before. They were both given to him in a box of stuff by a customer who "didn't want the old junk any more."

He's asked me to ID them and decide if it's worth selling them on ebay. The front derailleur can be seen at

The rear derailleur is at

The back of the rear derailleur cage says "4 vit chaine 2.38" if that helps.

Thanks for any help!
