The Peugeot U0-8 and A0-8 bikes were very similar, with the following differences that I remember -

The U0-8 had quick release high-flange Normandy Sport hubs. A0-8 used low-flange Atom hubs with Huret wingnuts.

The U0-8 had the oh-so-important chromed fork tips, while the A0-8 had no chrome on the frame.

Apart from those differences, I think they were identical ... not to be sneered at, either. Lots of folks started out on those bikes, and for inexpensive 10-speeds they were pretty good.
