Curtis here in Bikeville, about `84 I rode a Scapin, a frequent problem w/other riders, at least 4, was breakage of the right dropout!! mine didn`t but the top tube eventually cracked at the front cable guide. Loved the finish, chromevolato I think . In the 1890`s Wolf American used the same type finish, translucent finish over plating, gorgeous.
