Actually, this dispute is not about vulgar language. The term used is a technical, descriptive term for an action that also has many vulgar, synonyms.

What was deemed offensive was the _content_ of the thought and of the action described, which is, indeed off topic, not the language used to express it.

I for one was not offended in the least. My own reaction was mild amusement, but I understand that others have a lower threshold, and wouldn't have posted it myself.
