Wow, pretty bike. Congrats on it.

As to a date, I think the 5 speed spacing and no DT shifter bosses moves it back at least into the mid 70's. Certainly by 1980 the bosses and 126 mm rear ends were almost ubiquitous on racing bikes. We're pretty safe in saying its a racer because of the lack of drop out eyelets. But perhaps someone can give you more precise info from the serial number. Good riding.
