Careful, Roy. You're treading on dangerous ground with that joke. The moral majority will be picketing your home! I only recently joined the list and it's been a bit of a surprise to find so many Perry Como fans sharing a love of old bikes. From now on, I promise to keep my opinions to myself and hope that here, in Scotland, I'm out of reach of the Thought Police. I committed a minor breach of etiquette, I think, in speaking up for Ken in my first post without saying a bit about myself. For those who are interested, I have a growing collection of bikes: 1950s Claud Butler fixed gear, late 1950s Carlton,1948 Flying Scot track bike, a 1960 Cinelli Super Corsa that belonged to a Scottish track champion and a 1980s Holdsworth mountain bike. The Scot and Cinelli are in need of restoration and that's what they're getting at the moment. It will probably be the Spring before they're ready for the road. I'm hoping to pick up another Flying Scot in the New Year. Can anyone hazard a guess, by the way, at the value of BSA cottered cranks and inch-pitch chainring with Campagnolo Record track pedals attached?

Can't wait for the new Millennium to start! Oops, feel an opinion coming on here...
