Hi, Dale, and you all!
Again, it is a cultual thing. I noticed in the West, outer shell (body/looks) is very important among human being while all other objects (gifts/merchandise) have less emphasis in outer containers.
Think 100% opposit, in general thoughts, in Japan, objects are valued by the outer/box containers, many artists sign on the box. When you buy a nice item from a store, they wrap your merchandise like a super gift! Yes, they first look to see its container to determine quality of contents.
Therefore, just a box that used to have the great object becomes a collector's tresure in their culture.
Regards to all, Happy New Year,
KEN TODA, I still feel funny to ride on RIGHT SIDE of the road after 28 years in the US.
