Subject: [CR]Suntour TI Pedals...lol

I have had a great laugh seeing how long it would take for everyone to figure out if there was a TI spindled version of the not so sought after Suntour. They indeed have had TWO different pedals with Ti spindles. The first, which you are all discussing was offered by Suntour through "Pro" dealers only. It was acquired by ordering the group with a ti.2 in the series designation. Or by ordering seperate spindle set(dealer installed). The second was offered in standard stock in 1988-89. Part number for spindles only: 53290202ti=right and 53290212ti=left. These spindles were made in Wichita, Kansas by a machine shop that is no longer in business. Note: Very high failure rate! Out of the 3-4 sets we sold, we wound up re-installing the stock chromoly spindles back into 100% of the pedals. ***Note: Due to financial woes, I will be getting rid of my bike, part, and tool collection. I don't have the list ready yet, but if you send me your email address, I will send it some time in January with a "Word" attachment. I have already sold some of the items, but still have a ton. Regretfully, Kevin Weitzel kevinsbikes@netzero.net
