I previously sent this to Harvey, and he suggested I post it to the list. As the current High Bidder, I feel I should have some say in the resolution.
Safe option #3 (the one I was intending to use if I win the bid at the princely sum of $20): - leave pedal frozen in place - disassemble, clean, repack, reassemble - use to upgrade French bike with cruddy steel crankset.
If pedals are trashed anor spindles are bent: - remove chainrings - sell chainrings to CR lister for $30 - sell remnants at Cirque for $5
