I am wondering if the "Mexico" designation has anything to do with Merckx's hour record ride in Mexico City. I'm sure that was before 1980, but weren't his bikes built by Colnago? I believe there were several articles written in magazines about that time, and I remember pictures showing close-up details of the actual bike he rode. It had Windsor decals, but it definitely wasn't built by windsor.
