I recently passed what appeared to be a 1960 Cinelli Pista frame on to a friend who races at vintage cycle events in the UK.
It turns out, however, that the frame has more generous clearances than usual. My pal says all Italian track frames have very tight clearances but this Cinelli has room for knobbly tyres.
He is wondering if it could have been built to order for grass track racing in the UK.
Anyone shed any light on this one?
