When I purchased a PX-10E in 1972, I had a choice of either red or white. I took the white one.
I have a 1977 Peugeot brochure which lists the colors available for the PX-10LE as follows: White, Blue, Red, Black, Silver.
The same brochure indicates the PY-10E was available in the same colors as the PX-10LE, with the addition of Bronze.
I also had a 1979 PY-10 in Silver.
I think the French "mysteries" continue.
