Yeah, I can see it now... you're an entrant at the Lars or Cirque and some old geezer comes up to see your newly acquired Cinelli SC Monza that you have dedecaled with you fingernail and rubbed out with a little semichrome polish. The old gent looks you bike up and down and rubs his chin while muttering about how he had a similar bike that was called a Cinelli Monza. With a tear in his eye he relates how Cino named the bike in honor of Alberto Ascari, who tragically lost his life while racing a Ferrari at Monza.

"Ascari’s death was regarded as a national loss and Cino had been a devoted fan of Ascari," he said slowly.

Oh well, a pity, what's done is done... ::::sigh::::
