OK, I went out and looked at the Bianchi's pedals. They are of the "quill" type, but made from steel stampings. On both sides, on the top part of the plate, it says: "SHEFFIELD SPRINT-673-BREVETT", and on the top of the center tube, it says: "SHEFFIELD-673". But I could find no reference to country of manufacture on my pedals except for the word "Brevett". I didn't remove the toe clips though, and there could be something different under there, but I can see enough letters that it's safe to assume that it says the same on both sides. And the last "T" is so faint that it could be an "I", but I doubt it. So, being an Italian bicycle, with mostly Italian components, I have no doubt that the pedals are made in Italy.

I think there's a connection however, between the material used to build the Dunelt's frame, and the Sheffield Steel Co., in Sheffield, England. The Dunelt's original owner said something about it being one of the first companies to use steel manufactured for civilian use, after WWII. I wasn't sure exactly what she meant.

I don't know if there's any connection between the pedals and the steel company either.
