I sold the Bertoni in their glory year of 1987. There was a line-up of about 10 different bikes. They were the brainchild of Bernie Kotlier and co, of Ben Lawee Co.of Long Beach, California. They were all Italian, with the better ones being made by Bianchi's corse RTepartio sectuion, the others who knows?

There were models with Tretubi, SL, SLX, and even a one-off 700/25 disc funny bike for the cover of the catalog (now in my living room) Equipment ranged from cheapo Ofmega/Modolo econotalian, through first year 600 S-I-Guess, to Super Record to Record C 180.

Names like Specialissima, Italloro, and Professionale were among the line up There was the superleggeri, a Vitus 979 Aluminum tubed machine as well.

The top end machines had engraved (possibly microfusione cast) logos in the lugs, shells, and stay caps. Pamto parts like stems and posts were on the top ones as well.

I could go on but the real world calls Mine are all for sale including the funny bike I have a couple dozen, most new, and will part them out for groups and frames Larry Black
