I would echo Mark's sentiments. I have a red mid-'70s (I think - experts???) Medici Pro Strada in original paint & decals that is quite nice, despite it's humble heritage. It's a 60cm c-t built with SP tubing, and it is stiff!! Got it a couple years ago on rbm for relatively cheep. I tend to grab it for quick 10-20 mile rides on our rare "nice" weather days here in A2 Michigan. (those three weeks during July, unless they come in January - kinda like a box o'chocolates here weather-wise).
