Subject: [CR]Reverse front der.

I've got an older Suntour CompeV front derailleur that is what I call "reverse pull". Meaning when I pull cable with the shift lever the derailleur shifts from the larger outer sprocket to the smaller inner sprocket, the reverse of most other derailleurs.

Can anyone tell me what other reverse pull derailleurs were made in recent, classic, history, say, from 1970 to 1985?

The CompeV is heavy and of relatively low quality, mostly chromed steel parts, not alloy. Were any high quality, materials and finish, reverse pull front derailleurs ever made?

Thanks,
