Brian you remind me of a great story.
Years ago I managed a local bike shop. This was during the early years of the mountain bike rage. There was a local frame builder who gained a short national recognition for tig welded aluminum mtb bikes. Bicycling Magazine giving him great reviews. I remember one of the local mtb racers coming into the shop barging about how rad and awesome this frame was. I could see from fifteen feet that the frame was severely out of alignment. Till this day, I can still see this guy in my mind riding his bike uphill sideways!
