Well, you see, we did see it, as it was neither abusive nor obscene, which is all Dale is trying to prevent. And remember, on the few occasions Dale has booted someone from the list, there have generally been offlist messages sent to list members even less acceptable than the postings everyone saw. When a member receives an abusive offlist message in response to a list posting, that is a legitimate concern for Dale as well. I have some pretty strong opinions myself, but I recognize the need to state them in acceptable terms in public or when emailing a person I disagree with. This is my second posting in defense of Dale's policy, and I think that is enough, so I'll now give it a rest and return to the subject of classic bikes.
