I have kept my mouth shut regarding the seller, but here's my experience: if you need customer service, forget it. I won an auction of the seller, for a Sugino stem, January 23. Both the seller and myself are in San Diego. When I did not see it in a week, I contacted him, he apologized, promptly sent it, with bar tape. Nice so far.

However, the NOS stem is cracked at the angle, about 25 percent of the circumference. David (seller) promised to replace it, after a week, I didn't hear from him, I called him, and he said he would check his warehouse over the weekend. Still didn't hear from him. Middle of the next week, still no answer. Email him again, lots of apologies, excuses, said he was not ignoring me, sorry, etc, told me to throw the stem out, he would refund my money. Told me he has lots of good feedback, and he would make it good. So, that last email was about two weeks ago, I emailed him in the middle of the week and told him if he has financial problems he can send me some other small part, still have not heard from him. If any of you are going to bid on a high ticket item, make sure you have everything spelled out with this guy.
Nuff said.
