Subject: [CR]Regarding the Herse Seller

Hi All

This is regarding the seller (Pedalpushing@home.com) of the Herse on ebay: the other day I posted a note with my disappointment regarding the lack of response from in an auction I won, in which I recieved a defective part from him.(see details below).

Since that posting to CR on March 3rd, yesterday I received a box with a refund dated March 3rd, a couple of rolls of bar tape, and a Suntour rear derailluer. Pedalpushing made good after all.

If one of you forwarded my note to him, thanks. If you are on this list David, thank you for living up to your promise.

Mark Rosenberg howtostretch.com <<I have kept my mouth shut regarding the seller, but here's my experience: if you need customer service, forget it. I won an auction of the seller, for a Sugino stem, January 23. Both the seller and myself are in San Diego. When I did not see it in a week, I contacted him, he apologized, promptly sent it, with bar tape. Nice so far.

However, the NOS stem is cracked at the angle, about 25 percent of the circumference. David (seller) promised to replace it, after a week, I didn't hear from him, I called him, and he said he would check his warehouse over the weekend. Still didn't hear from him. Middle of the next week, still no answer. Email him again, lots of apologies, excuses, said he was not ignoring me, sorry, etc, told me to throw the stem out, he would refund my money. Told me he has lots of good feedback, and he would make it good. So, that last email was about two weeks ago, I emailed him in the middle of the week and told him if he has financial problems he can send me some other small part, still have not heard from him. If any of you are going to bid on a high ticket item, make sure you have everything spelled out with this guy. Nuff said. Mark Rosenberg howtostretch.com>>
