A woman called me from Marieta, Georgia yesterday regarding an old Paramount she wants to sell. She says she bought it 30 years old and it's in mint shape. I haven't seen the bike and was not able to find out many details over the phone (she didn't know anything about tubing, components, etc...). Apparently the friend of mine she showed it to was impressed enough though to have the woman call me.
She wants to sell it to someone in the area and has an idea that it might be worth something. Someone offered her $400 on the spot, but one shop told her it was worth over $1000. She is willing to take any easy, reasonable/lower price (e.g. she doesn't want to advertise, ship it, etc...). Is there anyone on the list within 80 miles of Marieta that might want to either buy or help the woman establish a fair price? She doesn't have a computer and is leary of having her name and phone number posted to strangers.
