HELP # 2--- I have been having the same problem-- can't even determine a date of manufacture. I too would like a set of transfers-- white, if possible--Nelson "jumping on the bandwagon" Miller PS-- I don't know if Chas himself is really involved anymore-- if so, he isn't there very much! :-)
On the long chance that any of you fellows (or ladies!) might be close to and hopefully on good terms with Roberts Cycle Shop & Chas. Roberts hisself....
I have had a nightmare of a time trying to purchase/obtain transfers for two old Chas Roberts frames I am trying to restore.. I have faxed multiple times and telephoned 4 times, they are always friendly, even took my charge card number at my insistence but I can't get anyone to respond to whether they will supply these or not! Neither a yay or nay.. I have progressed to the point of being thoroughly annoyed as I interpret their non-action as being a bit rude, but I dare not vent on them as I need the darn transfers and do not want to cause them to be angry at me!
Anyone have some pull in that shop? Know someone? Willing to stop in and bug them for me? I will happily bribe you with "Swag" (pop terminology for free cycling goodies!)
