I just wondered, if I have a damaged front large flange, I could take it to a machine shop where a skilled lathe operator can cut down L/F to S/F??

And then, if you do only one side. You might have a result like that???

I do not see any REASON why such a front have can be that way to benefit anything???? (except a lot of fun to look at).
