CNC is profiled in "The Custom Bicycle". Peugeot used to sell an SL framed bike with a Mavic group. Gitane sold one too, but I don't remember what the tubing was. Another nice Dutch frame would be the Gazelle AA. It's made of 531 and for a seatstay bridge has a very elegant flat plate that is drilled and shaped to look kind of like a a violin bridge. The bike has a nice headbadge too. It's a flat aluminum plate with early 1900's style graphics painted on. Alan or something 753 might be a good choice too.
