Subject: [CR]new member needs a Colnago fork

I hope I did this right I'm new to this type of communication.

A brief introduction:

Dan Shindelar, mid 40's, lives in Minnesota and got back into road bikes because I like tinkering and garage sales and darned if those road bikes I lusted after as a young man in SE Iowa didn't start showing up cheap. Besides I can't afford the sports car. I currently have a 1971 Raleigh International, a 1972 PX-10, a 1973 Motobecane Grand Record, a late 70's loaded Bob Jackson (Phil, Mafac, Crane, Campy-truly international) and a mid 70's Colnago. I also sell on eBay to support my addiction. I have been hiding in the shadows monitoring this list for awhile because I have more to learn than contribute and am extremely thankful for the effort and amount of work being put into keeping this list focused (Thanks Dale).

I have been enjoying the Colnago discussion lately as I am in the process of resurrecting just such a beast. Black with yellow highlights, mid 70's. But I need an appropriate fork and would appreciate help in locating one. This bike as all of mine is intended to be a rider and I'm not after mint, etc. Need an 8"(or more) headtube as the frame is 58cm. Or if the price is right I could get a longer one added. Please contact me off list if you can help.
