Subject: [CR]Original vs. Restored

The April issue of Throughbred & Classic Cars has a facinating article and pictures of an ORIGINAL Tipo 60 Maserati, commonly known as the Birdcage. The car is the first production car, built in 1960. It won the Italian hillclimb chanpoinship twice and raced until 1964 when it was put away by the current owner. It has never been seriously wrecked or rebuilt or restored. This car is amazing and should settle the original vs. restored arguement forever. It's being auctioned and the estimate is $1.2-1.8 millon. Phil Brown In sunny North Hollywood
