Harvey,

Just one major note: The real highlight was folks like you who give freely of their time to raise money for charitable causes. My Eisentraut, while interesting, was just a brief side attraction to your main event.

And an answer to your question: The paint is original. The 1976 frame had never been previously built up. Wayne Bingham did a masterful job putting the bike together last weekend and it is indeed a pleasure to ride! I owe Marty Walsh a big thank you for tipping me off about the availability of the bike, which came out of Wisconsin through another list member, Mark Koepke.
