If anyone is interested there is the Mountain Mama Century on Aug. 4th in Western VA. This ride features 10,000 ft. of climbing over 9 mountains. Last year was the first year for the ride and was well received. There is very little traffic on the roads used and takes place in one of the least populated counties of VA. There were some Classics to been seen last year and hopefully more this year. Here is their web site.
