Just to second Dale's opinion, I just had an '81 Miyata-Pro shipped from Washington state to Ogdensburg NY via Fedex. $30 US. I had to drive down from Ottawa to pick it up, but the box was in great shape (and the bike was very well packed so it survived well). The box remains in my shop in the event that I actually need to send something out soon. I had UPS dent and bend a frame and a MTB fork years ago. I'll never use them again, ever.

Not sure how many on the list are in Canada, but CanPar is the best shipper for anything within Canada.
