Since Dale has been slacking off and hasn't posted any Cirque pictures on the website yet....

And I'm desperately trying to keep from nodding off and doing a face-plant into the keybooard......

Daydreams or flashbacks? Some days, it's difficult to tell difference.

Some Cirque pictures I wish I had taken, but didn't:

A group photo of the current owner, and all the attending previous owners of the Meral frame, or any of it's widely scattered bones. I even brought along a panoramic lens camera. Just couldn't get everybody together at the same time. Next year I'm bringing a border collie.

A group photo of the Saturday vintage ride group, prior to departure. So I would know what your faces look like.

Jill with her new Raleigh Pro (and the person who kindly contributed a headbadge)

Jerry with his new Paramount

Anybody else who skipped merrily out of there with a newly acquired, long sought after or newly discovered steed they could hardly wait to hop on and ride.

Dale, wherever he was and whatever he was doing at 2AM Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Dale, wherever he was, and whatever he was doing at 10 AM Monday morning, the day after.

Dale, when somebody tells him there are only 357 more swapping days until Cirque 2002.

Dale, when he first had the idea to organize just a fun little local swap meet & ride.

Dale, when he looks back at that moment, and wonders quietly to himself, "What the heck happened ?!!"

I'll shut up now. Saturday, another drive, another swap, a ride on Sunday, and a new bike I've been searching for for years is waiting for me out there.
